Training at Your Facility.

Bring the training directly to your workforce. Steel River Foundry instructors can deliver training at your facility, giving your employees the opportunity to learn in the same environment—and on the same equipment—they work with every day.

On-site training can be tailored to your equipment, applications, workforce and operational requirements. Instructors can address equipment-specific operating practices, site conditions and real workplace scenarios while combining classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training.

For larger teams, multiple shifts or specialized equipment, bringing training to your facility can also reduce employee travel, limit time away from the job and provide a more efficient way to establish consistent safety and operating practices across your workforce.

Training at the Foundry Training Academy

The Foundry Training Academy at Steel River Ranch provides a dedicated environment for hands-on industrial training. The facility combines modern classrooms with practical training areas and real equipment, giving operators, inspectors and technicians the opportunity to learn, practice and develop their skills beyond the classroom.

Located in Cleburne, Texas, just outside Dallas, Steel River Ranch also offers on-site lodging and dining—creating an immersive training experience where teams can focus on developing the skills they need to work safely and confidently in the field.

Crane Operator Training

Crane operators play an important role in both workplace safety and equipment reliability. Proper operation can help reduce equipment damage, unnecessary wear and unsafe lifting practices while giving operators a better understanding of the equipment they use every day.

Crane operator training may cover:

  • Major crane components and controls
  • Safe operating practices
  • Pre-shift and daily equipment checks
  • Operator inspection responsibilities
  • Documentation requirements
  • Load handling and lifting practices
  • Rigging fundamentals
  • Workplace and equipment safety

Programs can be tailored to the type of crane, application and experience level of your workforce.
